If the account is going to be a commercial account, please contact customer service at 706-492-3251. Please have the meter number ready when you call. The customer service representative can assist you with the paperwork needed and can let you know the amount of the deposit.
Usually electric service is provided by the next day on existing accounts (except weekends and holidays). If you apply for service to a location which has never before had electricity, such as a new home or business, we encourage you to apply as far in advance as possible. This will ensure adequate preparation time for our engineering and operations departments and help prevent last minute delays.
